Nic Phillips, TAWA president, credited the mid-size SUV's balance of performance and efficiency with winning over the voters. With a standard 250 horsepower turbocharged engine, panoramic sunroof and leather upholstery, the XC60 has been Volvo's most popular vehicle with consumers since its introduction.

The XC60 also offers a 316 horsepower turbo- and supercharged engine, as well as an available 400 horsepower T8 Twin Engine, which was named the Best Powertrain by TAWA.

In a press release, Anders Gustafsson, Senior Vice President Americas and President and CEO, Volvo Car USA, commented, "Volvo is very proud to get this incredible recognition for the all-new XC60 from TAWA. The XC60 brings all of the award-winning technology from the XC90 to an even more popular market segment."
